Marketing Intern At Fairtree Asset Management

 

 

Brand challenge with Planet Fitness

 9 January 2023 - 15 December 2023 (1 year).

 

During my enriching one-year internship at Fairtree, I had the privilege of engaging in a multifaceted training program designed for graduates, emphasizing the expansion of both technical and soft skills crucial for success in the asset management industry. Throughout this period, I actively contributed to numerous marketing projects, showcasing my versatility and capacity to tackle diverse challenges. From spearheading the development of Fairtree's new website to crafting engaging social media content and orchestrating brand activations in schools, I was granted the opportunity to immerse myself in all facets of marketing. This hands-on experience not only sharpened my strategic thinking but also allowed me to witness the tangible impact of effective marketing strategies on the organization's brand presence. The Fairtree internship provided me with a holistic understanding of the asset management industry while empowering me to make meaningful contributions to the marketing landscape.

Internship with Dim university

2022

I have completed a 6-month internship with Dim University as a social media intern, creating content for the brand, coming up with various strategies to market the brand, often taking the lead in most projects. It was an American company so not only did I get to learn how to market to a South African audience but to an international audience as well. We mostly focused on creating content and marketing on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. The platform I mainly used to create content on was Canva pro.

Brand Activation for Western Cape Blood Service

2022

I worked on a campaign with a team for this brand to help solve their issue of not getting enough blood donors due to covid-19. Our target audience was 18–25-year-old’s, our aim was to attract them using a digital campaign, using platforms like TikTok, Instagram and Twitter. Our team created an infographic for their website, designed a game for patients to play while donating and created an animated TikTok video, to help promote donating blood to the youth.
