Relaunching Cafe Paris into the digital world.

As part of my final year projects at Vega university, we had to choose a brand of our choice and help them develop a digital marketing strategy. My group chose to work with Cafe Paris, a french cuisine, cafe lounge based in Greenpoint. We choose to work with them as their online presence needed assistance and a complete revamp. We conducted research for the Cafe and from that research, we were able to understand what creative executions were needed and best suited for the Cafe. Using our research as a base we designed a website for them, created content for their social media accounts and completely revamped and improved their overall online presence. My role was both designing a digital marketing strategy for the Cafe and working on creative executions such as designing the website and helping with the look and feel of their social media accounts. My role was a project manager/leader for the group ensuring that all required tasks and activities were completed timeously.

The website we designed

Cafe Paris did not have a website which meant that we had full creative control of  website design ie, the colour palette we were going to use, the images and the layout of the website

Content creation for social media

We improved their social media thorugh using higher quality images, choosing a layout for their social media and a theme that they would use.

Digital marketing strategy

We decided to improve their overall online presence and relaunch Cafe Paris into the digital world, we also made use of promotional channels such as influencer marketing, paid advertisement and public relations to create brand awareness for Cafe Paris.
